The Krisel Home

Designed in 1959 by celebrated modernist architect William Krisel, this Point Loma home did not need a new identity—it needed its original one brought back into focus. We renovated it with restraint, preserving the clean lines, distinctive roofline and indoor-outdoor connection that defined Krisel’s work while renewing the materials, systems and spaces around them. The finished home remains unmistakably mid-century, now prepared to live well for decades to come.
